Because I took Dual Enrollment courses and attended Governor's School while maintaining over a 3.5 GPA, I was awarded high honors. I graduated third in my class.

Southside Virginia Community College

I earned this degree through a program called Governor's School. I attended the community college in the morning, then returned to high school in the afternoon. I did this for both my Junior and Senior year of high school, allowing me to obtain my Associate's Degree before graduating from high school.

I took a three hour course in safeTALK, a program with the goal of teaching peers how to talk someone down from suicidal thoughts and or actions

While doing a brief summer internship at Piedmont Geriatric Hospital I was CPR and First Aid certified

During the same summer internship, I was trained in TOVA, a way to effectively and safely restrain patients at the hospital.

Psychology Club, Big Siblings, Alpha Lambda Delta, Psi Chi, and Sigma Alpha Pi

Career Goals

After taking Abnormal Psychology, I decided I wanted to pursue a career in clinical psychology. I will begin taking courses to obtain a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree in October at South University in Richmond, VA.
