I, Kristin Maria Aamodt, was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada on August 14, 1986. I moved around the East Coast with my mother until finally settling down in South Carolina when I was five. She remarried and had three more children, giving me a younger sister and a pair of twin brothers. I’m sure we were a handful but we had fun together. In 1996, I then moved to Condon, Oregon to live with my father. Condon is a very small farming community with a population of 750 people. I was very into sports when junior high came around, playing volleyball, basketball, baseball, cheerleading, and track & field. I continued to play all but baseball throughout High School. I have a deep passion for sports and a love for the game. I enjoyed every bit of being part of a team. After graduation in 2004 I moved to Monmouth to start college. I was on the track & field team until Fall of 2005 due to a second knee injury. I have almost completed a B.S., Exercise Science major, and a Health Promotions Minor. My optimal goal is to become a personal training or work with the younger population to increase everyday physical activity. I try my best to live my life to the fullest and enjoy every minute of it. I look forward to what the future has in store for me. I thank my friends and family for their love and support. They are truly a blessing to me.
