Collection Development- Purchase materials for all departments Juv, YA, Adult, in multiple formats.

Programming- Storytimes (ECRR2), started new chapter of YA Teen Advisory Board, and Adult Book Club.

Outreach- monthly visits to a Montessori preschool storytime, Dunebrook (social services) storytime, school visits story time and library literacy skills mini-lessons for 2 elementary schools.  Align library lessons with common-core and national ALSC School Library Standards.   

Scheduling- Scheduling for three circulation employees.

Circulation & Reference- Assist patrons with library needs and check-out.

Training- My branch become the training branch of new employees partially due to our exceptional customer service.  

Building Grounds- Responsible for upkeep of library grounds via communicating needs with Head of Buildings and Grounds and director.

SRP Committee Chair- proposed budget for SRP 2015, led group with meetings concerning SRP layout and prizes.

Marketing Team- met monthly to discuss internal and external marketing strategies for the library, including how to get staff to promote library services and how to get patrons to use and be aware of library services.

Management Team-  Met twice monthly to discuss policies, changes and library updates.

Tinker Librarian- Chicagoland group that meets bi-montlhy to discuss digital education and makerspaces in libraries.

  •  Reference- Bibliographic assistance, database assistance, and web assistance
  • Reader's Advisory- Create booklists, book reviews, book displays, and offer patrons book suggestions.
  • Teen Services- Collaboratively work with 2 Teen Service Librarians, Adult Services Supervisors and local teens TAGTeam (teen advisory group) to create and develop programming and teen events for 6-12 graders in the community. Programs include, but are not limited to; podcasting, an Annual Pizza Taste-Off, Annual Poetry Contest, Anime Club, Get Your Game On: Video Gaming, Hunger Games Fun and Challenge, Midsummer Night's Dance, and Kaplan SAT and ACT practice exams.
  • Social Networking- One of several administrators for the Naperville Public Library 'Teen Space' Facebook page:
