Focus was product development, increasing drop to pay rates and building system efficiencies. • Designed and constructed a new data center. Secured a new IT staff to develop and support the applications, an operations team to support EDI processing and technical support, development of processing policies and guidelines, and development of IT governance and business continuance planning. • Converted four regional payer organizations to new claims processing software and processes reducing administrative costs an average of 25% • Additionally marketed/promoted/sold claims processing systems and services to other dental payers.

Prior to the Nations Banc merger in 1996, I was Manager of The Distributed Computing Group based in Memphis Tennessee. I was responsible for all aspects of customer support and development of the LANs, WANs, applications, infrastructure, and connectivity for all Boatmen’s corporate and affiliate installations within my region. This consists of approximately 1500 users in 13 different facilities over a five state area. I was also responsible for the management of the technical support and engineering teams employed by the Service Company for bank conversions and de-conversions. During the NationsBank merger, I moved to St. Louis to fill a position as Transition Team Manager. Our primary responsibilities included converting the Boatmen’s banking centers to NationsBank hardware and software standards, implementation of a boundary frame relay network, and coordinating the asset management and maintenance inventories for NationsBank West.

In addition to the continuing administration and support of the Xcellenet RemoteWare network, I was given charge of an intern staff to provide support for the Memphis based computer users in the use of PC productivity tools and computer operations; to establish and maintain corporate computing standards; vendor negotiations and relations; project management; and to implement various email and group scheduling systems and ultimately tie them all together.
