Working knowledge in a number of functions including Community Relations, Individual Assistance, Direct Housing Operations, Public Assistance and Logistics. Extensive project and staff management experience. Perform duties as a Team Lead for Direct Housing Operations and supervise staff during field operations, participate in field staff meetings and address any pertinent concerns or issues of the DHOPs mission. Perform field activities that include site assessments, site development and unit installations. Perform routine and emergency maintenance of each unit. Complete deactivation process of temporary housing units. Complete Lease-in and Lease-out of applicants. Also ensure all documentation is properly completed while performing site inspections, lease-in/lease-out of applicants for each unit. Monitor commercial sites and FEMA built group sites for status and condition of emergency housing units. Perform field functions that entail identifying political, social, religious, ethnic, business, and other interest group leadership for the purpose of developing a team effort in the recovery process. Provide the vital information link between DHS/FEMA, the State, local communities and those affected by disasters. Collect and disseminate information to and from affected communities. Locate individuals who may need special assistance or encouragement to initiate the application process. Maintain the highest standards of customer service to colleagues, co-workers, and those affected by the disaster.
