I am the Disabiilty Resource Facilitator for Nova Scotia Agricultural College. I assist students with services and supports through Canada Study Grants. I also am teaching a Study Skills Course through the University Access Program. My other responsibilities include organizing the peer tutoring program for the campus, academic advisor, advisor to mature and aboriginal students and a don for a residence here.

My position provides training for assistive technology, testing accommodations and workshops for academic success with testing strategies, study strategies, time management, essay organization, etc. I currently hire, organize and match all peer tutoring services at NSCC Akerley. I work both at the campus level and within the provincial team for Disability Services as Coordinator of the International Disabilities Advocacy and Leadership Exchange.

Bridgeway Academy: Taught English/History to high school students with learning disabilities, ADHD and behavioural problems at a charity private school. Accommodations and individualized educational plans were used in this classroom environment.
