Graduated first class with honours
Primary care optometry at a full scope practice providing spectacles, contact lenses including orthokeratology treatment programs, paediatric care, and medical co-management.
Under the supervision of Dr. D. Luk, I had valuable exposure to the world of developmental optometry and vision therapy. Additionally, I had the opportunity of working with many of the paediatric patients for full exams. Also worked with Dr. M. Luong providing primary care to all ages.
Gained relevant and useful knowledge in the area of retinal disease diagnosis and management under the direction of Dr. J. Anand, MD.
Worked under the supervision of Dr. B. Nakai as part of my primary care externship. Developed experience with contact lens management, including orthokeratology.
Worked under the direction of Dr. R. Wooldridge during my ocular disease and therapeutics externship. Developed valuable clinical skills in diagnosing and monitoring ocular disease, with an emphasis on glaucoma. Also participated in post-operative management of various ophthalmologic procedures.
Under the supervision of various licensed optometrists, gained experience in several clinical areas including optical dispensing, low vision, pediatric optometry, binocular vision, ocular disease, contact lenses, and primary care optometry.
