Summary

I am Melvin Sim, and I am currently studying in Ngee Ann Polytechnic pursuing a diploma inPsychology and Community Services.

I enjoy helping the community as much as I can and am currently preparing for a community service trip in Cambodia,in addition I am a Photographer and have a passion for it, and plan to use my skill as a photographer to document the trip.. Moreover I love swimming and I am taking a course in life-saving to become a lifeguard.

Interest

I am interested in photography and self-taught, In addition I have been interested and have been actively taking photographs for a year.I use a Nikon D90 (DSLR) and specialise in potraiture. I have a few smaple picture at the side.

I am currently looking to be hired for free to work at events.

Sales Assistant

I worked as a sales assistant at a stall in Suntec City for about 2 months. The stall mainly sold soft toys and key chains. I learned how to interact with different people and how to cater accordingly to each customer.

Skills

Microsoft Excel
I have been using Microsoft office for 4 years, and went for a microsoft excel advanced course in 2009 to increase my proficency with it. I enjoy using it and find that it is an excellent program for keeping track from anything to the monthly household bills to company expenses.
Life-Saving
I am currently taking a course about life-saving in Ngee Ann Polytechnic and have achieved the first three certificates:   Life-Saving 1 Life-Saving 2 Life-Saving 3   I am now preparing for my fourth certificate which will qualify me as an official Life Guard:   Bronze Medallion
