At Radford University, I was recognized as a leader in my various extra-curricular activities and a dedicated student in my four years at this institution. With Radford's School of Communication being one of only twenty programs in the nation accredited by PRSA, I am confident that the knowledge and skills I gained through my studies have adequately prepared me for the career that lies ahead of me.

In addition to my studies, I participated in extra-curricular activites such as Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Public Realtions Student Society of America, Lambda Pi Eta Communication Honors Society, Rho Lambda Panhellenic Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society.

I entered Radford University in the fall of 2005. Throughout my four years at this univeristy, I found my niche in a plethora of academic and social activities. As a Dean's List Communication major, I focused my coursework in the area of Public Relations and minored in Psychology. During my last semester of senior year, I interned for the City's Tourism Department where I was given the opportunity to immerse myself in many projects. Since graduation, I have worked as the Marketing Assistant in a membership medical practice where my primary responsibilities included direct mail and all member communciation, event planning, budget planning and implementation, website development support, copywriting and editing and light administrative work.

In my free time, I volunteer with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program where I mentor a second grade student. I also enjoy reading novels, wake boarding, watching movies and traveling.
