I am a news, feature and creative freelance writer with a passion for mental health care.

I have an extreme passion for writing and journalism in general.  I find myself constantly scanning news sites, Twitter, and blogs, just looking for new stories, videos, or photos that grab my attention – many of which I will share with you in this blog.  Though I am also considering a career in counseling psychology I know I will always continue to write, even if it is only for myself.

I am a strong believer in taking advantage of every opportunity that comes your way – I have made some of the best memories doing the most spontaneous of things. I love to travel and have been lucky enough to make multiple trips abroad and hope to return to Europe sometime this year. I am a dancer, soccer player (right forward), snowboarder, and lover of all sports, even the ones I suck at. I play music constantly and am always looking for new artists and songs to enjoy.

Now that I am done with school, I look forward to exploring new places, learning how to cook things that don’t come in a box, honing my photography skills, and reading anything that’s not a textbook.
