Executive team member hired by Cerberus Capital Management to restructure and position Rafaella Apparel Group as a multi-branded and multi-channel corporation. Hired into lean operation with responsibilities for managing strategic plan and improving operations and technology.    

  • Automated business processes, such as allocation and production planning to manage organization with reductions in head count
  • Negotiated contracts including EDI, telecommunications, and equipment, realizing immediate cost savings
  • Overhauled Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to improve reporting, processes, and automation 
  • Systemized merchandising buying and production planning processes to improve data quality
  • Designed and implemented new standard costing module
  • Engineered soft and hard allocation systems and reports 
  • Implemented barcode scanning programs to streamline processes and improve inventory accuracy

Executive that participated in critical role facilitating 285% revenue growth during 4 years of employment.  Joined organization in 2003 after company struggled for years with technology.  Quickly turned around network operations and was promoted to Chief Technology Officer, responsible for all business applications and network operations.  Transformed technology from Elie Tahari’s major weakness to industry recognized competitive advantage. Implemented sophisticated call center that improved support response from several days to average less than one hour.  Executed change management process to control system changes that impacted complex application architecture. Further promoted to VP of Supply Chain Management in 2006.

  • Established EDI communications with 3PLs in Holland and Hong Kong to manage International shipments

In 2002, Bind was ranked #14 in list recognizing Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies in San Francisco Bay Area by San Francisco Business Times.

  • Deployed enterprise-based computer systems with particular focus on Windows NT platform and Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5, NCR Life-Keeper for NT, and Microsoft Cluster Services
  • Completed nationwide rollout of  TCP/IP-based time reporting system to AT&T Solutions which entailed coordinating implementation for over 50 sites
