About Justin Gung

An associate pastor with the Woodmont Christian Church’s Children & Family Ministry in Nashville, Justin Gung leads worship each week and delivers Jesus Christ’s good news. He emphasizes compassion in providing parishioners with counsel as they navigate life transitions, health challenges, and crises. Justin Gung also teaches Bible studies classes to students of all ages and organizes Children's Ministry volunteer activities. In addition, he facilitates a variety of special events, from mission trips to camps.

Pastor Gung completed a bachelor’s degree in English literature and leadership studies at the University of Richmond and earned a master of divinity at Princeton Theological Seminary. He subsequently completed a master of education at Vanderbilt University. Focused on human development, he served as counseling intern at the ecumenical crisis pregnancy center Hope Clinic for Women. While at Vanderbilt University, Pastor Gung served as pastor with the First Presbyterian Church in Hendersonville, Tennessee, for four years. In this role, Justin Gung delivered weekly sermons and guided the organization through a transition period following a senior executive’s departure.
