Full P & L responsibility, Management of National Account Team, Marketing & NPD for the Dalepak business unit, covering a product range of Frozen Meat and Meat Free products under Grassingtons, Dalepak, Ross and George Foreman brands and Retailer private label with a turnover of £52 million RSP per annum. Development of the commercial annual budget with weekly and monthly financial forecasts presented to the board, whilst working in unison with the senior management team to achieve agreed targets across the business. Strategically tasked with restructuring the commercial team to a business unit focus, including the recruitment and integration of sales, marketing and NPD team, including mentoring, coaching and training. Working closely with the major multiples, convenience & foodservice accounts to understand their requirements to ensure the team delivers against all sales targets and to maintain and develop relationships through a key account management strategy, including cross-functionally and communicating with each department to ensure their cooperation and buy-in.

Implementing structured business and promotional plans to drive forward business within existing and new accounts in order to maximise the profit returned within the Retail and Food Service arena. Experience of both branded and own label, with a passion for new product development, that has resulted in very close cross functional relationships with NPD, Production, Quality Assurance & Supply Chain Business Units, to ensure maximum performance with planning production schedules, time scales, budget costings, packaging, labelling, storage, distribution and export of products that are manufactured from two sites within UK and Ireland.
