My role also required maintenance and OS support for the RedHat Enterprise Linux fleet at CUA which has grown from 10 virtual servers to over 100 virtual servers.

  • Rotating 2 weeks on call for all Middleware systems and any RedHat OS. This also involved on call support for escalating issues with the JBoss EAP servers.
  • Documenting and designing new Middleware systems or processes to be approved by the CUA IT Leaders team.
  • Installation and maintenance of Red Hat virtual machines on VMWare and IBM zVM.
