About Julius Romero

An experienced medical educator and healthcare executive, Julius Romero has instructed students as an adjunct assistant professor at Touro College in Brooklyn and performed administrative functions at several New York City-area hospitals. He currently holds two senior management positions. As chief executive officer of the MedGlobal Group, he advocates for improved postgraduate training and licensing procedures for medical school graduates who earned their degrees abroad. Julius Romero also administers and manages an educational program for third-year and fourth-year undergraduate medical students at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center.

Outside of the professional arena, Julius Romero is involved with a number of children’s charities that operate in the Philippines, including the Advancement for Rural Kids (ARK) Foundation and Kicks for Kids. Mr. Romero also supports the Philippine Forum, an organization that promotes progressive policy reform, lobbies against human trafficking, offers social services, and facilitates legal assistance on behalf of immigrants in the greater New York metropolitan region.
