Reception Agent

Paradise Point Resort

As a Reception Agent at Paradise Point I am responsible for the guest's experience. I check them in and out of the hotel but am responsible for a lot more. Any request they have I need to ensure that it is met in a timely and satisfactory manner. This involves communication with all departments and a high level of customer service. If a guest has any complaints I listen to them and try to resolve them with professionalism. Sales skills are used when I sell upgrades to guests and I have cash handling experience. I have trained new coworkers due to my manager's trust in my skills. Due to the unpredictable nature of working the Front Desk, I have experience handling high pressure situations and finding solutions to problems that require immediate attention while ensuring that the customer as well as my employers are satisfied.

Administrative Assistant

Dilbeck Realty

While I was an Administrative Assistant at Dilbeck Realty, I answered phones, paid the company's bills, and was responsible for calling the city departments to shut off gas, water, and electricity on the houses that the company was selling. I also had to edit and update the company's website. My supervisor, Jill Suarez, held me accountable for the organization of the company and I never disappointed her. I came up with the idea of a new filing system in which all the important documents that the realtors needed were at their fingertips in organizational folders that were kept in their cars. I implemented this system and all of the realtors were impressed and continue to use it.

High School Diploma

Long Beach Polytechnic High School

I was enrolled in the school's highest honor academy PACE and enrolled in six Advanced Placement Classes. I took four Advanced Placement tests and passed all of them which gave me college credit. I was a choir student for all four years and went to Europe twice with my choir group to perform in churches and cathedrals. I was the treasurer of the club Sole II Soul which collects shoes to give homeless people. I also was a LINK Crew member, which meant helping incoming freshman adjust to the pressures of high school. In all my classes, I tried my hardest and turned in my assignments promptly.
