Julian Stokes, a real estate professional with more than 35 years of experience, currently acts as the Chief Deputy with the Collier County Property Appraiser in Florida. Having spent his entire career in Florida, he brings an intimate knowledge of the region and its real estate to the position. Over the course of his career, Stokes has held leadership positions with several local organizations. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Southwest Florida Land Preservation Trust and functioned as President of the Southwest Florida Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, where he maintains MAI designation. In addition, he holds status as a Certified Commercial Real Estate (CCIM) with the Commercial Real Estate Institute and a Fellow with the Royal Institute of Chartered Appraisers. Julian Stokes has been called upon as an expert witness on several occasions, including in the Circuit Court for the State of Florida and the U.S. Federal Bankruptcy Court.An alumnus of the University of Florida, Julian Stokes graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on real estate and economics. Throughout his career, he has augmented his knowledge of the industry through continuing education courses at various universities and the Appraisal Institute. Shortly after graduating, Stokes cofounded Kushman, Stokes, Armalavage, Inc., an appraisal firm based in Naples, Florida. He functioned as the Managing Director for more than a decade before leaving to start the Appraisal Research Corporation of Naples, Inc. Prior to his work with the Collier County Property Appraiser, Julian Stokes owned and managed Integra Realty Resources. With offices in Sarasota and Naples, Stokes and his team assisted clients with real estate valuations and similar matters for commercial properties across Southwest Florida.
