Jude has garnered over 25 years of corporate experience in several leadership positions in the fields of sales, marketing, alliances and general management in local and global technology companies.

In her current role as the Executive Director and COO of LeadWomen, she oversees the business operations and works with the team to set marketing strategies for LeadWomen's products and services   and assist in designing content for women directorship programme.

Prior to co-founding LeadWomen, she was the Regional Director for Partner & Alliance development and growth in Asia. In this capacity, she managed to raise Axway Software's brand presence in the financial and banking industry in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China and build  local strategic partnerships with the corporate and government sectors.  Her strengths are strategy, technology, marketing, risk management and people skills.

LeadWomen is  a company focused on supporting our nation's 30% aspirational target of advancing qualified and talented women into senior decision-making and board director roles.   

 Executive Director

Oversee and lead finance, business strategy planning, marketing and information technology.   Jude was also part of the assessment coaching team under the Ministry of Women's sponsorsed Women Directors Programme (WDP) initiative.  The one-to-one sharing session has not only honed her skills and abilities to help these women increase clarity on their own aspirations and goals, but also a learning and growing journey for herself.

 Notable achievements include:

  • Coached more than 400 women leaders under the WDP programme (2012-2014) 
  • Played a key role in securing 3 strategic sponsors - Sunway Group, Telekom and Siemen Malaysia - for the BRAND YOU conference in 2015 and successfully launching of the Women Directors Convention in 2014 which was attended by more than 350 women leaders
  • Wrote the business plan for the MSC-Status Award
  • Wrote and secured an IT grant for LeadWomen's website and Portal hosting needs
  • Championed and launched the LeadWomen Portal for the WDP alumni and other women leaders. The portal provides continuous learning, networking and driving placement opportunities
  • Co-authored the Concept paper and proposal for a Women In Leadership programme framework for Tanzania UN Commonwealth
  • Designed and launched the Enhancing Board Leadership programme this year

Axway Software

Developed strategies and direction for Axway Asia North & South's partner channel business. Responsibilities included  recruiting and enabling partners,  and developing business models to drive and grow partner-influenced revenue.  

Notable Achievements:

- Grew partner network from 7 to 15 active resellers and service  providers
- More than 50% turnover of 2008 contributed by the partner channel
- Launched the Partner Portal to support the partner network

Axway Software

Developed Axway business for the Asia North market  (Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan and China).   Collaborated with Swift Hong Kong on its early adopter Swiftnet Fund program. The collaboration helped us achieve the following: 

  • 1st vendor in Asia Pacific to achieve Certification for Axway Swiftnet Fund  solution
  • Roadshow presentation with Swift partner  to introduce Axway Certified Solution
  • Axway became the 1st vendor to close a Swiftnet Fund deal  in Hong Kong
  • Appointed Swiftnet Fund Partners in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China
  • Subsequently winning 3 more partner-led deals in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Beijing 
  • Promoted to Regional Director, Partners & Alliances Asia,  a newly created support function, based out in Malaysia

Mercator (now IBM)

Started the American-based software company in Hong Kong. Led  a 3-person team,  we raised Mercator's profile and brand by securing 4 strategic accounts, namely HSBC, Hong Kong Stock Exchange, First State Investment, Shanghai Pudong Bank within the 1st year of operation.

P&L, budget, operations, and business development responsibilities.

In mid of 2003, Mercator was acquired by Ascential and later by IBM.  Headhunted and decided to join Axway due to uncertainties in Mercator.

MCSB Systems

Grew the ailing company of 4 staff to 18 in 2.5 years.  Set up processes and telemarketing team to support the system integration business.  Developed an information management system to track marketing and sales activities and performance. Grew sales revenue from HK4 million to more than HK$25 million.  Was one of the top 5 resellers of Cisco communication solutions.

Responsible for P&L, operations, general management, sales and marketing management.

Advanced rapidly to management role and delivered measurable improvements in multiple areas of performance: revenue, customer satisfaction, education and training.  Built teams of talented professionals and motivated entire staff to work together to achieve stretch goals.  Built MCSB E&T  as one of the leading brands in Education & Training.

Awarded as one of the Top 3  Novell Education Centers in Asia.  Also a Microsoft Authorized Technical Education Centre, Authorized Education Centre for the Malaysian Government HRD Fund and the sole licensee for US  Learning Tree programs in Malaysia and Singapore. 

Managed a team of 25 training managers, instructors and sales personnel across 4 centers in Malaysia and Singapore.

While working towards a degree in mass communications, I also found part time work as a public affair assistant in Kaiser.  After graduation, I assumed fulltime role, assisting in PR activities and producing a monthly employee newsletter.

In early 1989, I returned to Malaysia when its economy improved.

Rotary Community Work in 2015

Outside of work, Jude is a Rotarian, a Board Member and the Public Image Chair for the Rotary Club Pantai Valley.  The following are some of the community work which she participated in.

  1. Mentor for the Rotary Education Fund (REF) project, which mission is to nurture and develop students who are academically-abled, but financially-challenged to have a better start in life.
  2. Assist in Medical Camp project where a group of volunteered doctors, nurses, red cross and young Rotaractors came together to provide free general health checkup for the urban poor of the Pantai Dalam community
  3. Assist as the Public Image Chair  in the 2017 Clean Water and Sanitation Project for Orang Asli, Pahang
