I am the owner and operator of CreeMij Designs a new company seeking partnership opportunities; a registered business of Taykwa Tagamou First Nation.
I have the experience and education needed to benefit my business and partners creating successful, trusting and respectful partnerships. My most recent work experience includes Detour Gold and Apitisawin Employment and Training, which involved procurement for Detour and policy development, recruitment, strategic planning, negotiations, and partnership development for Apitisawin.
Administrative duties to Junior and Senior Buyers
Responsible for the day to day operations and administration by developing and implementing a strategic business plan. Negotiate and procure financial agreements and develop networks with communities. Recruitng, hiring and supervising multiple departments.
Board of Director
Negotiating IBA between TTN and Ontario Power Generation.
On call as a supply teacher for grades Junior Kindergarten to Grade Eight.
As an Adult Education Assistant I was responsible for creating tracking sheets; recording student progress, education records, and educational planning. I was also responsible for opening the education centre in the evening and was available occasionally during the day to assist students. I assisted students in forming a graduation committee, I continued assisting the committee by chairing the meetings and ensuring delegation and completion of tasks.
Cree Language and Cree Heritage to Grades 1-8
As part of professional development I attended Banff Learning Centre's Leadership Development program in Negotiation Skills Training. From the training course I learned and practiced each step of the negotiation process by using proven interest-based negotiation techniques to assist in future negotiations such as as land claims, self-governance, fiscal arrangements, natural resources, co-management agreements, and business partnerships.
Strategic Managements Skills-managing projects, priorities and deadlines. Emotional Intelligence-deal with conflict, low morale and low productivity.
