Served as a teaching assistant to help teach students the importance of interpersonal communication skills, team work, and problem solving.
During my year as Director of Student Life I served on a variety of committees and boards allocating both resources and funds within the university setting. Time was also spent on the University General Education Committee which had the responsibility for reworking all the general education requirements for students at Washington State University.
From the spring of my junior year of high school through the summer of my junior year of college I worked at an Ace Hardware off and on around my school schedule. This customer service experience has been invaluable to me due to the skills learned while working with fellow employees in a team setting to serve customers.
Serving as the Director of Student Affairs my work was focused on the coordination and expansion of a student driven escort service to keep students safe when traveling at night. Along with this safety program I planned and coordinated the Students for Safety Banquet developed to raise funds for safety around campus.
Rebecca Dueben served as one of my supervisors while I was a teaching assistant for a course in interpersonal communications.
Connan has served as the advisor to the Associated Student of Washington State University's Executive Staff. As the advisor to this staff he has worked with me since 2009.
