My life long learning has taken me through Early Childhood Education.  I've enjoyed working with young minds for 30 years.  During this time I have also been certified  in Adult Education through Brock University and have enjoyed facilitating individuals who are choosing to become educated in the field of Early Childhood Education.  I have completed the Aboriginal Teaching Certification Program at Nipissing University in North Bay, my OCT membership number is 600377 .


My objective is to gain full time employment within the education field.

 Provide instruction to adult  students enrolled in the Early Childhood Education course offered through Niagara College with the classes held at Six Nations Polytechnic on Six Nations of The Grand River.

I worked in a class of 19 students.  I primarily worked with guided reading groups, sight word testing, grade 1 Math lessons.  Also assisted the teacher with classroom management and organization.

I secured a contract as a Kindergarten Teacher for 2013/2014 school year.  I successfully taught 22 JK/SK students at Emily C General Elementary School.  Implemented full day play based learning program.

I worked for the 2011-2012 school year with Miss L. Powless in the 4/5 split class.  I primarily worked with the students that were in the lower math and lower or non reading non writing students. I gained experience using the Kurzweil computer program for students.  I also gained exposure and experience using the smartboard technology in the class.

Supervised 25 staff members within a child care setting providing high qaulity child care for 98 children.  Ensuring that the Ministry of Child and Youth Services guidelines were met and a provincial license issued to operate the child care centre.

Received certification for safe food preparation and safe food storage and handling.  The course was offered through Six Nations Health Services in July 2013.
