§Maintain and update HR records with accuracy to include HR database (ADP Pay Expert/EZ Labor/ or other HRIS), performance evaluations, pay records and employee documentation.
§Oversee timesheets completion, verify hours, approvals, and regulatory compliance using ADP EZLabor and upload to payroll program.
§Processes bi-weekly payroll and complete related payroll accounting
§Transmit and balance payroll.Prepare pay records for approval and maintain records according to policy.
§Prepare accurate general ledger entries and monthly reconciliations for assigned accounts.
§Prepare periodic HR reports for management’s review and for Federal and State reporting.
§Monitor eligibility for employee benefits and enroll participants.
§Administer all benefits programs including but not limited to Health, Dental, 401k, STD, LTD, Flex Spending, FMLA, COBRA, and Workers' Comp and ensure regulatory compliance with all activities.
§Handle daily vendor relationships with Health, Dental, Flex, and other insurance providers.
§Inform new and existing employees on benefit matters. Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skill to tactfully and confidentially resolve staff benefits issues.
§Ensure timely reconciliation and payment of weekly and monthly benefits program invoices.
§Ensure staff understanding of benefit programs by regularly generating communication and counseling employees/dependents as situations arise.
§Develop written benefits procedures documentation. Ensure periodic policy manual updates.
§Works with Sr. VP to source various benefit plans and HR technology.
§Maintain updated knowledge of changes to Federal and State Benefit legislation.
§Implement annual policy renewals. Plan, organize and implement annual Open Enrollment process.
