Business Development Manager for ABC pharmaceutical development services. Responsible for providing sales coverage of the Midwest region to support assigned quarterly and yearly proposal, sales revenue, and administrative goals using technical knowledge and sales skills to initiate and develop long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients. The BDM calls on existing and prospective clients, promotes ABC services, and prospects in order to develop new clients and increase client base. Delivers sales presentations to existing and prospective clients, effectively employing internal scientific resources. Reviews proposals and makes recommendations regarding price structure. Consistently tracks client information in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Coordinates execution of Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements (CDAs) and/or Master Service Agreements (MSAs.). Prepares trip reports and maintains a monthly report on all activities. Prepares, updates, and maintains client plans for all active clients within assigned region and/or service line(s).
Contract coordinator for ABC Lane services. Responsible for assisting Business Development staff, Operations staff and Sales Managers with outlining scope of medium to large programs for service lines assigned and contract preparation for service lines assigned within the time frame designated by the Director of Business Development. The Contracts Coordinator assists with process creation and implementation for business activities, the creation of change order documents as requested by operations, and cost analysis at completion of projects to determine pricing guidelines. Masters use and ensure compliance with Client Relationship Management Software. Ensure adherence to the approved sales processes and workflows and collaboratively assist with continuous improvement. Promotes ABC during all interactions with customers, both internal and external.
Program and project coordinator for ABC Lane services. Responsible for working closely with Operational Directors, Team Leaders, Study Directors, and Business Development team to provide overall client satisfaction and management of on-going work contracted to ABC Laboratories. Serves as key point of client contacts for both technical work and sales requests. Interacts closely with clients to provide overall goals and objectives to operations via formal communication and monitoring of projects. Provides support to sales efforts and assist in processing requests for proposals and quotations. Responsible for monitoring the assigned client’s testing needs, expectations, organizational/operational changes, questions, concerns, comments, and identifying potential opportunities and threats to ABC from this business relationship. Client steward during on-site client visits. Monitor project status and communicates out of scope to sales and operations. Provide routine and professional updates to management regarding assigned client activities.
Assists ABC Laboratories’ GLP & Synthesis Service Group with fulfilling the sales objectives related to current and new clients in the agricultural, pharmaceutical, animal health, specialty, and industrial chemical companies. Possessing knowledge of the regulatory drivers for the various industry groups and services required for regulatory compliance. Travels approximately 20-25% to gain prospective new clients and develop accounts generating sales, and prepares a trip report for each event. Generates quarterly reports, weekly update meetings, and action plans summarizing sales activities and metrics. Present technical service capabilities to clients. Contacts target companies relative to expanding customer base by placing cold calls and emails to clients and prospective clients. Assists with the preparation of marketing materials. Monitors technical websites, Contract Laboratories, and other internet sites for new projects and potential clients. Masters use and ensure compliance with Client Relationship Management Software. Develops and prepares quotations. Assists with presenting technical capabilities at Trade shows and events. Coordinates the execution and distribution of confidentiality and service contracts with customers.
Assists Chemical Services Business Development with fulfilling the sales objectives related to current and new clients with emphasis on preparing cost quotes and proposals. Works closely with Account Managers, Program Managers, and Group Leaders, and responds to client requests for information. Analytical chemist typically involved in day to day activities in the laboratory working under prescribed procedures (protocols, standard operating procedures, methods, etc.). Assists in planning the conduct of a study, and monitors study procedures to ensure data accuracy and report quality. Conducts experiments and research procedures in accordance with all regulatory (i.e. EPA, FIFRA, and OECD) requirements. Meets project deadlines, and prepares reports, peer reviews and data summaries of completed projects for incorporation into final report. Identifies and/or provides training to subordinate personnel to carry out research. Utilizes laboratory equipment, computer resources, and institutional libraries.
Analytical scientist typically involved in laboratory work under prescribed procedures (protocols, standard operating procedures, methods, etc.) Designs experiments, outlines research procedures to be followed, and identifies and/or provides training to subordinate personnel to carry out research. Conducts research on in vitro systems or biological samples in support of drug development. Utilizes laboratory equipment, computer resources, and institutional libraries. Performs and reports interim analysis of accumulated data to monitor for the safety of the drug or procedure.
