Mulligan's Island

Worked directly with the construction crew to ensure that the architectural plans were followed.Led crew with irrigation installation.Measured and built 27 putting greens to USGA specifications.Worked with contractors on a 36 hole miniature golf course.

Aided Superintendent in replacing an entire maintenance staff, trained employees on all aspects of golf maintenance. Carried out a long term anthracnose management program on severely stressed greens. Learned valuable irrigation and management practices in an attempt to move toward sustainable turf maintenance. One of fifty ‘elite’ assistants chosen to attend the Bayer Corporation’s 2011 Green Start Academy.Led staff in various projects as part of a long term Master Plan Renovation.  Gained valuable experience with managing a competitve private golf club during a struggling economy.
