Executive Vice President - Americas2005 – 2007 (Charlotte NC, USA)
Responsible for Essel Propack’s business in North and South America, with manufacturing facilities in Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia and The United States. Had under my responsibility, business growth in the Americas as well as sales & marketing, operations and finance of the countries where EP had manufacturing & commercial presence. Had 6 direct reports, four general managers, a regional controller and a regional manufacturing director.Had full P&L ownership and reported directly to the CEO of the company in India.

Responsible for the Latin American business with manufacturing sites in Venezuela, Colombia and Mexico. The main objective of this role was to consolidate the operations (restructure the business / optimize supply chain) and evaluate regional expansion opportunities. Full P&L reasonability and reported directly to the CEO in India.

Responsible for the growth of the business in India, China and Southeast Asia. Also, during this time I acted as manager of merger and acquisitions, and was responsible for the commercial and administrative due diligence process prior to merging with the Essel group. Additionally, worked with financial institutions (venture capital and investment bankers) searching for equity to fuel the growth of the company.
·Landed multimillion supply contract with Unilever in China (USD 30 million) and lead the project (by-plant manufacturing model) with the customer.
·Instrumental in the valuation process for the merger with Essel group by performing detailed customer due diligence through Asia and validating growth projections.
