Displayed unsurpassed leadership and guidance for managing an inter-networking of 195 facilities on the Travis Air Force Base Metropolitan Area Network supporting more than 23,000 personnel. Assumed full responsibility for configuring, installing, and troubleshooting computer network cabling as well as wired and wireless hardware for new and expanded LAN. Constantly communicated with customers and recommended effective ways in building floor diagrams, technical solutions, LAN equipment cost estimates, and software and hardware ordering procedures. Provided quality assurance for self-help and contractor installations; in charge of administrating local installations along with monitoring and troubleshooting of 190 long haul circuits switched through the Defense Information Systems Network Node.
