Devised a resource support system to help our AMEX Financial Advisors to improve their core competencies in planning. Results were a spectacular increase in planning fees, up over 247%.Sales results were in excess of $215 million and net profits exceeded $18 million.
PIONEERED THE CONCEPT OF FEE-BASED FINANCIAL PLANNING SALES AT AMERICAN EXPRESS (IDS).
Effectively managed internal and peer resistance to the concept of using fee-based planning with patience and consistent messaging. Because of hesitancy on the part of advisors and leaders to try new pricing concept, we worked with those impacted and slowly dissolved their reluctance. As a result, sale of products quadrupled and our average client retention rate increased from 60% to 90%.
