Professional Objective and Aspirations

  • I believe life is a continuous learning curve therefore the need to further expand ones knowledge and education is a key differentiator. 
  • I would ultimately like to be a CFA charterholder.
  • The finance industry is a constantly and rapidly changing environment, therefore flexibility and the ability to adapt are essential qualities to possess.  I have also developed a strong interest in the field of data and analytics.
  • I am also enrolled in the Deloitte digital curriculum course which mainly focuses on digital fluency and capability within Financial Advisory. This course stretches over two parts, with the main focus on the introduction to coding via Python.

My responsibilities include the following:

  • Valuation for transaction advisory;
  • Indicative valuations;
  • Valuation reviews for financial reporting; 
  • Fairness opinions; 
  • Purchase price allocations; and
  • Eminence/thought leadership pieces

We use generally accepted valuation principles and methodologies such as the income (discounted cash flow models), market (trading and transaction multiples) and cost approach to perform the engagements mentioned.

Project execution support which often includes developing clients deliverable and follow up to ensure timely project execution.

Preparing and ensuring the accuracy of financial models

Extensive analysis of a company’s financials, market position and competitive landscape when performing valuation analysis.  

I have worked with clients in the following industries:

  • Consumer & Industrial;
  • Financial Services;
  • Private Equity;
  • Technology &Telecom; and
  • Oil & Gas.

Part of my responsibility is also assisting in the drafting of various client proposals which outline our offering, approach, capabilities and methodologies.
