Summary

As a creative individual I have the ability to breathe life into new projects and ideas. Leading on high profile projects and events as an employee at Erddig Hall and on a self employed basis on events such as Erddig Hall's 12 Days of Christmas, Erddig's Christmas Markets and Wrexham Council's Chistmas Grotto.

Having a natural ability to inspire and motivate I delivered an 8 week accredited course to a community group in an area that historically disengaged from learning. All members successfully completed the course and resulted in one member launching their own business.

I possess great leadership skills, which are crucial to my job as a tutor and community engagement officer. I coach and mentor people in challenging areas of society to aspire to be the best they can be. I was contracted in to Bryn Alyn High School to re-engage students with learning. The 8 week project resulted in improved attendance.

Target and sales driven, I have a proven track record as a Visitor Experience Supervisor for Erddig Hall in the retail, heritage and tourism industry, of working managing teams of staff and volunteers in customer facing roles, empowering the team to deliver excellent customer service. I thrive working with and supervising a team and I am unafraid to give direction and feedback, both tools that are essential as a tutor and engagement officer in developing engagement strategies and learning. I embrace and utilise diversity and different skill-sets which is a daily part of my role as a self employed tutor.

Through planning and developing visitor experience I have created the volunteer group the pin pushers, the out door tour guides, an observation hive, a blog and designed sign-age, leaflets, maps and trails for visitors to enjoy.

I am extremely proficient with Microsoft office packages and have extensive experience in producing marketing materials and promotions. I manage my own website and recently redesigned and edited the Communities First Spring Newsletter which will be delivered to over 6000 homes in Wrexham.

Health and Safety is a significant part of my current role as a Community Tutor and Engagement Officer which I hold a good working knowledge of. In my previous role as a Visitor Experience Supervisor, I was the Disability Champion for Erddig Hall.
