Next City Church (2012-2014) - Lead Worship Team LeaderAs a co-founder of the church, I served as a board member, account holder and Primary Worship Leader - taking on the responsibilities of voting on policy, handling church funds/purchases, and taking lead on everything music/tech related. For a little history, Next City Church has been ongoing dream for Pastor Davy Kusta for the last several years. He has been involved in several successful church plants leading up to 2012. When his ministry opportunity at that time came to a close, he expressed his vision to me, my fiance Kimberly and a few others in December of 2012. Meeting at different bars and clubs in Chicago suburbs, we launched Next City Church in January 2013. It's aim is to appeal to those who may never be comfortable enough to come to a church building, but might come to a bar to hear the good news. Next City is going strong and continues to attract new seekers.

Willow Creek Community Church (2013) - Alpha Worship Leader / Group/Table Leader / PromiselandAlpha is a ministry course given across the world in many churches as an introduction to Christianity. I served as a Group Leader - starting conversation, asking questions and helping faith seekers find answers to their questions themselves. I also served as a music leader - playing guitar, piano and singing. Our music style and selections were purposefully aimed at being very understandable songs about God with very practical expressions of thanks and praise as opposed to theologically heavy or repetitious songs.
New Hope Church (2010-2011) - Worship Leader
New Hope Church was a very developmental place for me as a worship leader. Under the direction of the main worship pastor Michael Glenn, I played drums, bass, guitar, piano and sang. I led worship team practices at times, created instrumental parts for some of Michael's custom arranged worship music and served as the primary worship leader at time. Michael Glenn is still a close mentor to me in worship and in life.
