A Senior and Finance and Marketing major at Saint Louis University’s John Cook School of Business, Joshua Pucheta has spent the past four years fulfilling a busy schedule that has involved study, professional training, and extracurricular activities. Originally from Fairfield County, Connecticut, Mr. Pucheta enrolled at SLU in fall of 2008 and quickly demonstrated his potential for scholastic achievement and campus leadership, maintaining a solid grade point average throughout his collegiate career and joining the Theta Iota chapter of Sigma Chi. Josh Pucheta also entered into SLU’s iLEAD Servant Leadership Experience, a four-year philanthropic service project that encourages a spirit of responsibility and volunteerism in the greater St. Louis community.Since then, Joshua Pucheta has ascended through various leadership roles at Sigma Chi, serving as Promotional Chair, Public Relations Chair, and, most recently, Quaestor (Treasurer); a position in which he manages a yearly budget of $10,000. Joshua Pucheta also spent three years on staff at SLU TV, and worked as Advertising Sales Director for the station during the 2011 school year. In addition, Mr. Pucheta took part and placed third in the 2012 Stock-Trak Competition, a school-wide event in which teams of students manage virtual stock portfolios over a three-month period.Outside of school, Josh Pucheta has enriched his academic coursework through an internship at New York Public Relations Firm Ruder Finn, where he worked in the Planned Television Arts Division during the summer of 2011. Mr. Pucheta has also worked in a number of other jobs, including three summers as a Sales Associate at the General Nutrition Center in Wilton, Connecticut, and as a part-time Server Assistant at The Fabulous Fox Theatre in Midtown St. Louis.
