About Joshua Broman Grape City

Fluent in Japanese, Thai, Chinese, and English, Joshua Broman has followed a polyglot, multicultural path over the course of his career in education and media. He spent much of his adolescent years taking various trips to Thailand, Japan, and Taiwan. When he began working, Joshua Broman started off in Japan as an English-language teacher at MeySen Academy, a K-6 school founded by executives at GrapeCity. He was well liked by students and committed himself to making learning fun and interactive.

From there, he got into videography when the company reassigned him to making videos based in Southeast Asia. After doing this work for six years, Joshua Broman accepted his current position with GrapeCity and became the chief creative officer and executive producer of the company’s new production and media design division, WINEstudios. He also serves as the creative director for GrapeSEED Curriculum, a cutting-edge English as a Second Language program.

In his free time, Mr. Broman is an avid photographer. He took up the hobby while teaching at MeySen and eventually was given the task of taking photographs for the school’s newsletter. An active member of his community, Mr. Broman coordinated relief efforts between GrapeCity and Samaritan’s Purse after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in eastern Japan.
