  • Greets and welcomes students, faculty, International University guests, and other clients in a professional and business office setting to ensure guests are helped in a timely manner.
  • Provide IES clients with appropriate telephone and in-person customer service by problem solving or answering general questions in regards to multiple IES departments including Open University.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings to report on customer service telephone and in-person log and analyze changes according to the academic year and trends.
  • Assist in preparing hard and soft copy personnel folders for multiple IES departments.
  • Coordinate scheduling appointments for IES Utility Cart and Conference Room for staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of IES main lobby and reception area, as well as other facilities located throughout the IES Central Administration offices.

  • Assisted in planning and promoting CCLL Provost Awards recognizing students and faculty for their service-learning excellence
  • Formulated memos to faculty and staff  in appreciation for contribution to Carnegie Foundation Application
  • Collaborated with director, associate director and associate dean to produce SJSU’s application to be classified as a civic engagement university through the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement in teaching (awarded in 2008)
  • Surveyed over 30 Silicon Valley organizations about their experience with SJSU students in preparation for SJSU's Carnegie Foundation Application
  • Updated community and campus partnership information on Center's Web site using WebCMS.
  • Facilitated over 15 45-minute orientation sessions to incoming freshmen about the Center’s services and affiliated programs
  • Served as Center's representative during freshmen orientation Resource Fair with over 100 freshmen in attendance
  • Helped proof and create guide for Community Connections Fair 2008 where over 30 organizations set-up on campus to meet with students during the beginning of Fall 2008

Kids' Community Assistant

The River Church Community
  • Met with the Kids' Community Director on a weekly basis to assess Sunday events
