For more than 20 years, Joseph Bernard has enjoyed an outstanding career as an attorney. Mr. Bernard launched his career in 1990 as an Assistant District Attorney for the Hampden County District Attorney’s Office. In 1996, he started a private practice where he focuses on criminal and civil litigations. He is an expert at handling cases involving car accidents, slipping and falling, wrongful death, and driving under the influence. Since establishing his practice, Mr. Bernard has tried more than 200 cases.Prior to starting his career, Mr. Bernard earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Clark University. He went on to complete his Juris Doctorate at the Western New England School of Law, where he received the American Jurisprudence Award. Mr. Bernard supports several schools in his community. He has served on the Springfield School Committee, the Springfield School Building Committee, and the Willie Ross School for the Deaf Board of Trustees.
