Brought on to legitimize and ignite sales in the US Market. Responsible for building Infosonics’ overall business model in US. One of four key executive directly responsible for bring Infosonics public in June 2004. Performed a wide gamut of sales, marketing and training. Assisted in purchasing decisions and related tasks for this wireless distribution company that grossed approximately $257 million in sales in 2007. Organized special events to generate business. Spearhead all trade show activities including booth selection, design and customer appreciation parties. Hired and supervised marketing staff, conceived and implemented all marketing strategies including brand awareness for the verykool handset line. Provided feedback on program performance and made recommendations to executive management. Key contributor to the development of the verykool handset line. Worked closely with product management and the engineering team to deliver ten feature rich low cost handsets.

In charge of all business development, strategic alliances, and revenue generating partnerships for a multi-unit retail chain, wholesale wireless distributor, wireless carriers, retailers, indirect agents with our distribution partner. Negotiated Brightpoint’s distribution agreement for Ericcson in 1999.

Director of Agent Dealer Sales

Provided strategy and developed Brightpoint North America distribution channel. Opened and managed the New England Distribution Center. Directly responsible for sales in New England, Upstate NY and Canada. Negotiated distribution agreements with carriers, regional retailers, dealers, the industries largest “Master Agents” and multi-location regional franchises and kiosks, encompassing in excess of 17,000 point of sale. The indirect sales channel contributed to more than 65% of the gross monthly sales. Able to launch and support several thousand sales locations with limited resources, while maintaining a role and input in many other facets of the business including but not limited to merchandising, marketing, promotional activities, and sales and operational support systems. Began career as Regional Manger in 1991, promoted to Sales Manager in 1996 and was subsequently promoted to Director of Sales in 1997. During that time sales grew from $75 million in 1991 to $2 billion in 1999.
