Experienced Investment Advisor in Manhattan

About Josef Najar

Josef Najar draws on over 10 years of experience in the financial sector to serve as a director with Credit Suisse, a global financial services firm based in Zurich, Switzerland. At the company’s Manhattan office, he oversees business development, staffing, intra-firm collaboration, and investment solutions for a five person team within the Private Bank. Josef Najar is the senior member of his investment advisory team and the youngest member of Credit Suisse’s Private Bank to earn recognition in its President's Club in 2013. Having joined Credit Suisse from Barclays in December 2011, the team's assets under management have quadrupled and their portfolio of lending solutions has expanded significantly against the backdrop of very low interest rates.

In his current role, Josef Najar draws on experience gained as a registered investment advisor at Barclays Capital, where he managed the investment portfolios for approximately 50 high net worth clients. While with Barclays, Josef offered guidance on a variety of investment vehicles, ranging from equities and commodities to fixed-income products and hedge funds, and quickly advanced to the position of vice president.

In addition to a BA in economics earned at Hamilton College, Josef Najar holds an MBA in finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business. Outside of the office, he supports such organizations as the Israel Student Education Foundation, supporting its activities on his frequent trips to Israel.
