Criminal Justice Policing Diploma

Lethbridge College

I am currently enrolled in my fourth semester of the Criminal Justice Policing Diploma. I will graduate with my Diploma in December 2014.

In my previous employment, there have been many times where the job times, sites and tasks have changed. I had to be willing to adapt to these in order to complete the jobs.
My peers and employees have always been able to depend on me for various tasks. Last summer during my summer work term, I did not miss one day of work. It is important to me to be dependable because this creates and inspires trust amongst peers and employees.
I have experience working in labour job positions where it is essential to be a hard worker. I also am hard working when it comes to completing school assignments, as well as other life tasks.
I have participated in sports that have allowed me to exhibit my leadership skills amongst my peers.
In high school, I completed 3 years of construction courses. Over the next two summers, I obtained jobs that allowed me to utilize my construction skills in building trusses and fences.
Customer Service
While I worked at Sobeys, a huge part of my job description was to be involved with customer service.

In 2011, I joined a mission with other students in my grade, where we drove by bus to Tijuana  Mexico. We stayed for two weeks and during that time we completed a lot of charitable events. Here we built two houses for different families. We set up charity functions where we collected clothing, food, school supplies and other necessities to give back to the community. Another thing that we did, was interact with the kids of the community by engaging them in sporting activities. These include football, soccer and other games they introduced to us.
