- New York, NY
Jordan Yarosh spent much of his early life playing drums. Business school in Vermont did not suit him, so he followed his talents and enrolled in the Studio Recording Technology certificate program at Nassau Community College. This began Yarosh’s professional career in music production. Shortly after enrolling at NCC, Jordan Yarosh accepted a role as Assistant Engineer at Media Recording Studios in Merrick, New York. Simultaneously working and studying, Yarosh managed to maintain a 3.9 GPA throughout all three semesters of his program.
Shortly before completing NCC, Yarosh landed an internship with Quad Recording Studios. Located in Times Square in New York City, the opportunity allowed Yarosh to explore all aspects of studio engineering. In addition to maintaining the top condition of the studio, he also helped engineer the recordings of Quad’s numerous professional clients. After almost a year of interning with Quad, Jordan Yarosh decided to combine his original background in business with his love of the music industry. In 2010, Yarosh enrolled in New York University’s Bachelor’s degree program in Music Business.
Jordan Yarosh both plays and produces music independently. As the drummer for The Sliders, Yarosh has proven to be a capable musician, playing for packed crowds at the 2010 Bamboozle Festival and appearing in a broadcast performance on WPIX11’s Memorial Weekend Morning Show. He has also served as a manager for The Sliders, coordinating events between venues, promoters, and the band’s schedule. As a producer, Yarosh has worked on albums by The Candy Apples and Liquid Picasso. This broad range of experiences makes Yarosh a fast-rising professional in the New York music industry.
