I am a creative and diligent Cinematographer and Director with strong shooting and directing skills. I have several years experience filming live events, feature films, shorts, factual documentaries, music videos and TV commercials. I have taken directing duties on several projects and have assistant directing experience. Due to my many years of experience I have been able to progress in the industry and I am now a respected Director of Photographer. I have also been nominated for 3 awards including a Golden Globe for Best Picture. Over the last decade i have developed an instinctive sense of visual narrative, a sharp ear for excellent dialogue and a pacifical approach to program making.

I am also a very active person who likes to play Football, Tennis and Running in my free times. This allows me to keep fit and healthy so that I am able to work long and tiring hours on a film set. I am also an enthusiastic Photographer with a passion to take great images. I go out most weekends to different places in the city to capture the wild urban life. This passion for photography inspired me to go in to cinematography as i wanted to learn the trick of the trade.

Fox Searchlight Pictures

After a dry spell of jobs I was offered a Cinematography job from Fox searchlight pictures. The film was The Grand Budapest Hotel directed by Wes Anderson. Who is one of the best directors of our generation. Wes taught me many important skills which helped mature me as a cinematographer. I also asked he about directing and he showed me tips and tricks I had never heard of. I found this very useful as I was  aspiring to be a director.

Film 4

In the summer of 2010, the Film 4 gave me my first Cinematography role and i got to work with the award winning Director Steve McQueen. The film was called Shame, it wasn't a massive blockbuster but it taught me a lot about the industry and the codes and conventions. In the filming stages i learnt to respect and appreciate the other cast members as each and every person matters on a film set. This was great to learn and has helped me out in other productions.

Camera Operator

Channel 4

Channel 4 gave me a chance to work on their news channel in 2009 as a camera operator. This Job gave me experience in broadcasting media and organisational skills because of the very stressful environment. I also got to know my way around a busy set and became use to that type of work space.
