Accountable for delivering on all local marketing, events and public relations strategies in order to grow awareness of Canadian Tire Jumpstart as a community based charity across Canada and strengthen Canadian Tire’s reputation as a socially responsible company. Further accountabilities include drafting content for speeches, newsletters, press releases, announcements and web site updates.
- Provided communication materials and consul to Canadian Tire Jumpstart Chapters, Canadian Tire Dealers across Canada, and inter-related business partners
- Worked with the Canadian Tire corporate affairs team to develop and execute media relations campaigns that supported community marketing initiatives.
- Drafted copy and guided creative direction for key Jumpstart communications, including Jumpstart newsletters, announcements, web site content and key messages
- Governed key messages and brand standards
