Supported the public affairs team to increase the overall profile of Mount Sinai Hospital, research institute and foundation.   • Researched, wrote, proposed and implemented a communications plan in support of Mount Sinai Hospital's Diversity and Human Right's department. This plan enabled Mount Sinai to become the first hospital in Canada to conduct a workforce census
  • Collaborated with Mount Sinai Hospital's publicist and doctors to write and pitch a media release about a new placenta screening test developed by a team of Toronto researchers. The story was featured in national newspapers, medical magazines, web sites and television news broadcasts. The story made approximately 5.5 million media impressions
  • Arranged interviews for print and broadcast journalists with Mount Sinai Hospital staff and physicians in response to proactive and reactive media stories 
  • Wrote feature articles for Hospital News, Mount Sinai Hospital's Your Health Report magazine and articles for Mount Sinai Hospital's bi-weekly newsletter
