Jonathan Leone received his BA in history from Yale University and both MBA and certificate in environmental studies from Dartmouth College. Jonathan Leone’s professional history includes senior positions with not only investment banks such as JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Paribas but also various Internet firms throughout the Bay Area.
After relocating to Sausalito, Jonathan Leone leveraged his academic and professional background to join the city’s Waste and Recycling Commission. More recently, he has held graduating levels of responsibility on the Sausalito Planning Commission, where he served as its chair for two years throughout his six-year tenure, and was eventually elected to the City Council in 2006 and 2010. He also served as the mayor in 2009 and 2010.
Mr. Leone remains active in Sausalito’s government and continues to focus on historic landmark preservation and responsible land use planning.
