Dr. Jonathan Bishinsky is President and Medical Director for York Cardiovascular Centre in Markham, Ontario. A medical professional possessing a broad base of training and expertise, he provides patients with services related to the evaluation and treatment of heart disease. Dr. Jonathan Bishinsky is licensed with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario. He enjoys academics, as evidenced by his educational history. The son of a chemist and an x-ray technician, Dr. Jonathan Bishinsky excelled academically from an early age. While still in high school, he achieved perfect scores on various mathematics evaluations and co-wrote a serious of pamphlets made for tutoring his fellow students in algebra and functions. After four years and a post-secondary degree in Montreal, he gained acceptance to the medical program at McGill University, one of the top-ranked public learning institutions in the world. While there, Dr. Jonathan Bishinsky took advantage of the school’s rigorous curriculum to expand his knowledge on politics, history, and economics. He toured Europe during the summer and took part in a student exchange with Israel. In 1983, he graduated from McGill University with a Doctor of Medicine. Later, he completed internship and residency work with Montreal’s Royal Victoria Hospital, where he garnered valuable experience and published medical research regarding lymphoma and renal vein thrombosis that received dozens of citations in other medical research. With his formal training completed, Dr. Jonathan Bishinsky began practicing medicine throughout Montreal and Toronto.When not attending to his professional responsibilities, Dr. Jonathan Bishinsky pursues his interests in traveling the world, biking, skiing, and studying theories.
