Program Manager Financial Instruments & Derivatives Regulatory Reforms


Main Role: As part of the wider Strategic Regulatory Initiatives Program and Capital Markets Reform, the Derivatives Regulatory Program includes
- Co-Ordinating the Derivatives Reform Program for OTCs and ETDs across Wealth Management International Locations including Dodd-Frank CFTC and SEC, ESMA EMIR, FinfraG, MiFID/MiFIR2, MAS, HKMA, AISC and other local regulations including the functions of Business, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Credit, Cross-Asset SMEs and all other functions impacted.
- Assessment of Single Sided and Dual Sided Reporting, Booking Models, Order Manager and Execution Flows, Client Analysis, Client Classifications, Counter-party Information, LEIs, Product Analysis & Operations Processes, Trade Blocking, Risk Mitigation, Timely Confirmations, Portfolio Reconciliations, Portfolio Compressions, Dispute Resolutions, Clearing
- Managing the functionality of Reporting - [Post-Trade] Trades, Positions, Valuations, Collaterals and Delegated Reporting with Shared Infrastructure across Wealth Management interacting the Investment Bank and other Service Providers for the in scope products for Realtime and T+1, T+2 timings etc
- External Trade Repositories (TR) include DTCC, Regis-TR, UNAVISTA; Approved Reporting Mechanisms (ARM) and Approved Publication Arrangements (APA)


Program Stream Lead Resilience Program


- Roadmap & Design reviews with Atlas Board, Chief Risk Officer CRO and Regulator Sign-off (including 3 lines of Risk Defence)
- Mobile Banking - As a part of the Business Digital Channels & Technology Resilience Program teams, I directed the team in bringing in house the external Mobile Digital Banking Platform Monitise. Migrations included Monitise DC to RBS DCs, Monitise new GHE Platform, 9i to 11g, Client Release for iOS, Android and Blackberry
- The OracleGrid Program was the migration of the Oracle Platform from its Dutch location to its new UK location under the full domain of RBS which was serviced by an external vendor.
- The Middleware Program was a complete Complete IT Landscape analysis, planning and deployment of the Infrastructure standard by upgrading each of the Middleware components in the Bank
