  • Responsible for managing operations and staff of San Francisco office, and new business development for North America.
  • Hands-on senior counsel for 3-4 accounts including DeviceAnywhere, Aviat Networks (formerly Harris Stratex), and Smartphones Technologies.  Ad hoc for Openwave.
  • Provide senior-level strategic counsel, message development and tactical implementation for clients, focusing heavily on media relations, analyst relations, award submissions, speaker proposals, and tradeshow support.
  • Drive proactive media relations through strong relationships with telecom reporters at trade verticals (WirelessWeek, ConnectedPlanet, FierceWireless), wire services (AP, Reuters, IDG New Service) and mass media publications (WSJ, Forbes, FT).
  • Launch and manage clients’ social media programs, including corporate blogs, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Wiki, blog commenting programs, and social media news releases.

My Career Path

Back in 1993, I joined a software start-up in San Francisco’s Multimedia Gulch, got my first taste of PR under a world-class mentor...and never looked back.  Seventeen years later, I'm as enthusiastic as ever about the fast-paced world of high tech and telecom, and genuinely enjoy helping smart, innovative companies vault their business to the next level of success.

Diversity of experience and clients has been the hallmark of my career.  I made the deliberate decision to work in every perspective of corporate communications (agency, corporate and freelance) and represent a wide variety of high-tech companies, so that I could provide counsel regardless of the organization's goals, industry segment, size, or stage of growth. My experience includes B2B and B2C...private and public...start-ups, mid-size and multi-national. 

NOTE: I took a two-year hiatus from 2007-2009 to stay at home and raise my new, twin boys.
