Summary

I'm always up for a challenge and love to meet new people. I am the friendliest person you will ever come across. I love shopping, watching a good movie, and hanging out with family and friends. I love watching Law & Order Special Victims Unit, and I'll rarely pass up a home cooked meal. I love working on a daily basis when people are around me, it makes my day go a lot faster. I like to try and help others and make their day; you will rarely ever find me frowning. I live by the live, laugh, love model and am very dedicated to all of life’s surprises.

I have worked at IHOP for 6 years now through high school and college. I have learned a tremendous amount working as a server here. I learned how to perfect my customer service and marketing skills. I have juggled full time course hours as well as a part time job all through college. This job has taught me to be responsible make my own money while in school. I am grateful for the position I have held here.

This internship allowed me to work on my writing and proofreading skills. I created brochures, press releases and answered phones in a professional manner on a daily basis. This internship taught me how to be creative and use color and choice of words to catch the reader's eye.

This internship allowed me to gain leadership skills for the future. My primary task was to plan a silent auction for the organization. I learned how to be more creative and focused. Much of the work I did alone and it was a different take on other jobs and internships I have had. Through planning the event I learned how to get sponsors, fundraise, and market the event.
