Based in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, dental professional John Rokita, DDS, participates actively in the local business community, regional dental organizations, and youth sports and charitable initiatives. Dr. Rokita moved to the area in 1974 to start his private practice and to raise his family. Today, he oversees a thriving, patient-oriented dental practice, offering general cleanings, periodontal treatment, cosmetic repair, dental implants, and other services. To provide his patients with the most current care and technologies, John Rokita, DDS, engages in continuing dental education with several professional societies, including the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, and the Philadelphia Society of Periodontics. Within the community, Dr. Rokita coaches local soccer, basketball, and baseball teams for the Doylestown Athletic Association and the Central Bucks Athletic Association. In addition, Dr. Rokita served as a courtesy staff member at the Doylestown Hospital from 1974 to 2011. Prior to founding his private practice, John Rokita, DDS, earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery and his Certificate in Periodontics from the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. During his graduate and postgraduate education, he participated in the prestigious Kolmer Honorary Medical Society and the Periodontal Honor Society. He received his license to practice in Pennsylvania in 1968 and worked part-time in a dental practice for two years while completing his certificate. From 1970 to 1972, Dr. Rokita served as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, followed by two years as an Assistant Professor of Periodontics at the University of Connecticut’s School of Dental Medicine.
