I have started several companies from the ground up. This has required me to be self-motivated and resourceful. It has also provided real life, real world, hands-on experience in many varied tasks. This continuous OJT (On the Job Training) has given me not only a breadth of applicable experience, but more importantly, encouraged me to always be ready to adapt and help build others to support the growth and mission of the company.
Throughout the years, there is very little I have not had to do. From developing custom software to developing curriculum, from installing phone systems, to setting up processes and systems to run every department that comes along in the growth phases of companies. From Continuing Medical Education (CME) and a Human Resources department to in-house fleet maintenance facilities. I have always introduced novel approaches along the way, and developed staff to take over functions to monitor and improve the systems I put in place. In a nutshell, I have pretty much done it all.
What I lack in experience, I make up for in tenacity, collaboration, and immersion in learning. I work well on my own, but work just as well with others, preferring to work in a collaborative environment. There are very few challenges I am unwilling to take on, and my father will tell you I have always been that way.
