Through ten years in higher education, I have worked diligently to expand my experience and knowledge surrounding customer education, systemic analysis, strategic expansion, global outreach, and organizational development.

My work with Dun & Bradstreet has truly fueled this desire. Working with our leadership and being a part of organizational change continues to make my work exciting and meaningful. Here, data drives thought,  curiosity is truly valued, and generosity is simply a part of who we are.

Resource Aquisition & Project Management
Acquiring organizational resources with limited budget to manage both operational and technology based projects to maintain scope and minimize costs.
Policy Development/Assessment
Comparing daily practice with common crises to determine potential weakness in organizational response. Developing step-by-step protocols to minimize organizational liability and increase the safety and security of the organization.  
Budget Manaegment
Reviewing annual operations to balance multiple budgets and evaluate capitol projects needed to forward the development of the office. (i.e. project proposals, personnel requests, position cuts)

Using a wide variety of mass communication tools from website design and social media tools to instructional design and job aid resources such as video tutorials, manuals, and training presentations.
Situational Adaptability/Crisis Repsonse
Multitasking roles in personnel management, operations management, information technology, education, programming, conflict mediation, training, committee chair, all on a daily basis.   Working in a variety of situations with immediate crises, organizational wide emergency response (pandemic, active shooter, bomb threat, etc.), natural disaster preparation and recovery, system crashes, and data recovery.

Creating comprehensive programs and educational models that are founded in organizational mission assessed with clearly defined actions or deliverables based on Bloom's cognitive, affective, and psychomotor objectives.

Senior Training Specialist

  • Redesigned and integrated an entire training platform utilizing Adobe Connect to create a virtual schoolhouse to manage customer engagement, training content, and classroom access; with zero downtime.
  • Developed complete "Train the Trainer" curriculum and learning objectives for a dozen employees to employ Adobe Connect

Associate Director of Residence Life

DeSales University
  • Supervised several professional staff members; Supported personal/professional development by providing resources and objective benchmarking for individual career goals in higher education.
  • Developed professional staff training for housing technology, staff/resource management, campus marketing, policy/protocol, crisis response, recruitment, communication, and conflict resolution.
  • Managed annual assignment and retention strategies for over 1,000 students living in campus housing. Redesigned the DeSales University Housing Selection processes and supervised several interns through their management of these processes.
  • Managed annual operational budget of nearly 500K and revenue stream of nearly 6 million.
  • Developed and implemented a strategy to move more than 90% of our office operations online to allow students easier access to our office and its resources.
  • Oversaw a Housing Management Software implementation project from start to finish, involving initial research, 100K in capitol budgeting, integration of the software, and assessment of student satisfaction.

  • Collaborated with several campus departments to implement a transitional development program for graduating seniors while supporting the values and mission of the University.
  • Researched the specific competencies students need to ensure a smooth transition from their senior year into a highly competitive workforce or post-graduate institution.
  • Developed a comprehensive training program for students to incorporate networking, résumé building, character development, community engagement, fiscal responsibility, acclimation to company culture, and searching for a job.
  • Developed nearly 20 learning outcomes specifically for the program and assessed to measure effectiveness and their general confidence in post-graduate career planning.
  • Implemented more than seven training sessions throughout each academic year focusing on each of these important competencies.
  • Involved alumni and other regional employers as mentors for students in the program, and also to help fundraise and develop a sustainable operational budget.

  • Directed building-wide room management, maintenance requests, social and educational programming, health and safety reports, conflict mediation, judiciary sanctioning, damage billing, and receptionist staffing.
  • Designed a comprehensive Judicial Database system using MS Access. 
  • Developed maintenance request processing system unique to this residential facility.
