Spearheaded start-up efforts in tandem with CEO. Directed daily operations, such as preparing and controlling budget and maintaining P&L of international branch subsidiaries, including US, Germany, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and China. Traveled to worldwide locations and collaborated with direct reports to manage general and administrative operations, sales and marketing, and research and development functions. Administered all financial and accounting activities. Maintained awareness of international labor laws while leading human resources, benefits and compensation, and employee relations. Developed all contracts and license agreements. Created marketing strategies, performed market analysis, and developed SEO strategies. Prepared sales forecasts, negotiated contracts, facilitated sales meetings, and maintained key alliances.
♦Grew start-up company from ground up with initial capital of $40M.♦Achieved projected revenue growth of more than 300% by securing and negotiating partnership with Taiwan’s largest software company for electronic receipts, Universal EC; partnership led to co-development and sales initiative, giving Eclaire new product in e-commerce and new sales channel into Taiwan and China.♦Personally closed largest sales deal in company history for $2M Ali Semiconductor, which was world’s leader in multimedia IC chips.♦Developed business model to donate software applications to universities to promote company products and build visibility, enabling company to donate to 127+ institutions across 4 countries. Universities provided much-needed feedback and enhancement requests.♦Led R&D, product engineers, and sales teams in conversion of Java based products and start of new business process from vertical Enterprise software applications to consumer’s products upon partnership with Actebis in Germany, enabling Eclaire to target new market with its web based software applications.♦Developed secure WAN linking all 6 R&D centers and 200 engineers to central international data center.
