Client Manager

IMAGINE SOLUTIONS

Responsible for stewardship of large, cross functional development and ECM systems integration projects. Own solution delivery for a select portfolio of clients and ultimately accountable for IT delivery project leadership, management, quality, and timely execution. Responsible for select clients’ delivery teams, financial forecasts, staffing, contract management, and alignment to goals and objectives.

·Provided PMO that was key in establishing new corporate ECM Project Office governance function within a major West Coast regional bank, including creation of implementation business case for end-to-end business process and ECM-based solutions across Business Banking and Commercial lines critical to top corporate strategic cost-cutting initiative. 

· Supplied technical guidance in modernization of bank’s ECM technology platforms and application portfolio in support of ECM investment optimization goals leading to creation of technology roadmap and implementation plans currently being completed. 

·In parallel to activities above, provided management oversight to multiple delivery teams across top-tier and large regional financial institutions in the delivery of ECM solutions. Also supported sales personnel and worked with strategic business partners to deliver solution proposals, cost estimates, and other legal contracts as necessary to secure new business.

Directed consulting team of 15+ providing global direction and oversight in the creation of client work products. Developed relationships with Director and VP client base. Led multiple high-profile business application delivery and systems integration programs/projects. Performed business development, pre-sales, contracting, project delivery, and quality control. Managed client satisfaction and all financials. Staffed and supervised team resources and vendors in a matrixed, onshore/offshore environment. Capabilities lead within the OpenText Community of Practice.

  • Led on-time/budget mission-critical medical regulatory post-merger integration program for global pharmaceutical firm.
  • Established knowledge transfer center of excellence for major oil & gas company separation into 2 legal entities.
  • Directed core technical teams in solution architecture of various public-facing Web portal programs and applications.
  • Architected and managed financial data hub solution for large resources company, that included chart-of-account and general ledger restructure, plus improved business intelligence financial, reporting and costing solutions.
  • Collaborated with medical specialists to architect and design a solution for managing therapeutic use exemption business processes and systems as key part of major professional sporting anti-doping program.
  • Co-developed Records Management “Point of View” – a pre-sales asset covering the implementation of a comprehensive Records Management program.

Developed reusable IT assets, including innovative straight-through-processing solutions now protected by patent.

Managed company catering to Y2K preparedness. Directed Y2K program for a mid-size regional bank; worked with vendors and 3rd-party servicers to ensure service operational readiness. Represented the bank to regulators. Post Y2K, managed troubled telecommunications project rectifying CxO issues related to commissioning system problems. Resolved systematic errors dating back to founding of the company; led reprocessing of 6+ years of data using highly parallel methods.

Consulted to COO and CIO direct reports on large-scale international financial institution restructuring projects. Specialized in reducing operating costs through business process improvement and automation. Helped shed $600+ million in operating costs in a major Australian bank. Worked primarily in USA, Australia, New Zealand, and Mexico.

Delivered enterprise and departmental workflow and document management solutions in financial and government industries. Designed and implemented award-winning integrated tax processing systems for state governments. Created and deployed a global trade finance system for a major US bank with HQ in NYC. Provided operational support to global trade finance solutions across England, Malaysia, and the USA.

IBM (formerly FileNet, Inc.)

Supported and managed a portfolio of high-profile clients, assisting with planning, installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of integrated custom FileNet software applications and related hardware on 7x24 basis. Developed solution architectures and capacity plans. Provided technical pre-sales, solution planning and design consultation to clients, system integrators, and value-added resellers related to FileNet products. Served as regional and national top-level Oracle DB support escalation point.

1992 - 1993

COMPUTER TASK GROUP

Designed and implemented IBM and VAX mainframe solutions in JCL, IMS DB/DC, VSAM, DB/2, and CICS for various clients within the Kansas City metro area while completing university degree. Earned a competitive spot in the company’s System Engineering Development Program (SEDP); graduated at the top of class in Buffalo, New York. Managed the implementation of a loaded mutual fund application for a Midwest regional bank.
